School Site Grants

Each year the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation accepts applications for School Site Grants. Grants may be used to fund single or multi-school projects that will help schools meet the goals of the site action plan, the district Comprehensive Local Education Plan (CLEP), and the goals of No Child Left Behind.

Information/Application

  • All applications for computers, software and other related materials must include an approved Proposal for New Technology Projects/Changes to Existing Technology Form (DOC, 62KB).
  • State textbook laws prohibit the Foundation from providing funds for textbooks. If a project requires written materials, please fully explain the need for all materials including why these materials are not available through your school.
  • Do not submit requests for food (i.e. receptions, lunches, dinners) unless it is an integral part of the proposed project.
  • Transportation costs will not be considered, unless it is an integral part of the proposed project (i.e., no field trip for the sake of a field trip)
  • Each proposal may range from $100 to $10,000.
  • Individual applications must be submitted to your school’s site committee. Each site committee will select one proposal for submission to the Foundation. A due date will be announced for all proposals. Each school may submit only one proposal. Each approved project will be highlighted at the Celebration of Excellence Banquet.
  • All proposals must be typewritten or computer generated on the official application form (PDF, 101KB). With the exception of the cover sheet, the application must have no mention of the school, mascot or teachers.
